I have tried changing the computers general audio system preferences internal audio device in and out as fast track. I have tried changing I/o settings and manually routing things but i have no idea what im doing. I have noticed that I can't assign an I/o on any track in pro tools as there is nothing but a blank option. If I start a new audio or instrument track I get a signal from testing both microphone and by pressing keyboard but no sound! The session opens only if I change the playback engine to built-in mic rophone. If you find that Transmit 4 is incompatible with your OS, the best option would be to switch to a different FTP client, be it one of the many free ones out there, or optionally upgrading to Transmit 5. Transmit 4 had a nice, long, seven year run but it was time to lay it to rest in favor of developing the next evolution, Transmit 5. In a technical note over at its Support site, Apple says OS X Mountain Lion v10.8. Once an app is discontinued and is no longer receiving updates, some future macOS update will cause the app to stop working eventually. Inevitably, all software generally meets a similar fate. Since Transmit 4 was discontinued, it will not be receiving an update to correct these issues. Just download the 10.9.4 update from OS X Mavericks 10.9.4 Update (Combo). Unfortunately, Transmit 4 was discontinued nearly two years before macOS Catalina (10.15) was released, and is incompatible with any version of macOS newer than macOS Sierra (10.12.5). If you choose to run Transmit 4 on an OS newer than Sierra, it will launch and work in a basic form, but you may notice some instability in the form of crashes, exception errors, or hangs. Am I correct or can I run this from 10.8.5 If I am correct, where can I find. A note about Transmit 4’s compatibility with macOS Catalina and newer If you are looking for a specific older version of our software, you can find it at The Panic File Museum. Click the app version number below to start the download. You can find your operating system version by selecting “About this Mac” from the Apple menu in your menubar.
